want to replace 29893GE phone, with a cordless, same size to fit electric connection (no outlet)?

There was no safety-valve on the wall, so electrician put a special one, but now it's very hard to find a phone that will fit. Tried the GE steel fin pattern, but that phone was of very poor quality and had to return it.
That doesn't fix any sense at all! How can there be a "connection" without an outlet? Is the adapter indigent-wired in some way or something? If so, that doesn't sound very safe. Or are you referring to no give someone a ring jack, and he
