Why cant i open my 'Epson scan' on the desktop, my scanner is a Epson Stylus CX3700 printer?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times, my wires and connections seem to be ripping, my printer works fine, I just have a problem when vexing to open 'Epson Scan' ? My Printer/scanner/photocopier is a CX3700. I am also masterly to photocopy
