I'm prospering to label all of my binders for school. I was thinking putting those clear plastic page protectors through the printer to do that. Would that toil? I have a laser printer and I would just be using black or chalk-white ink.

Ink jet printers use water based ink and the ink would not adhere to the plastic.
"Laser" printers don't use "ink" at all but a graphite resin syndication that is melted onto the paper.
